Can a lipo pack be replaced with 18650? Had a tiny

bluetooth device with built-in usb charging etc but the tiny lipo pack in it is a bit damaged. Was thinking of replacing it with 18650 for a different product. Will it work or will it explode?

My guess is that the thing you trying to fix already has the needed protection built in but its never bad to have another layer

It will work as a lipo pouch with a single cell has 3.6v nom. Same as a 18650. But i highly recommend that you use a protected cell
