wide variety of sensors, which means you need more processing power than an Arduino can deliver. Especially if you intend on storing this data for historical graphs, you're going to need a proper device at some point, so I think you'd be better off starting there.
Is it doable with an arduino to record a picture, store it to an SD card, record and store audio data and process some additional sensors, all while performing some alert detection logic ? Maybe. would it be easier on a Pi ? Yes
So u would suggest me going with a raspberry pi?
Technically you could get away with using something like an esp8266 if you're only sensing data and sending it off in its raw state to somewhere else.. but yes a Raspberry Pi's hardware would be required for any kind of local processing
