I need to learn some stuff beforehand :S I'd like to use a linear potentiometer with dc motor and looked at some parts but the datasheets don't tell anything about the dc motor. Is it really unnecessary to know what dc motor is used in order to use it? :S I've read that there arw brushed, and brushless and I don't know how much ampere the engine needs to even start :S
Next step will be to look how I can create different ampere values with an microcontroller, and if I need tonuse a motor driver and what the motor driver even need as input and what they output :S It's really difficult for someone who never had to do something with electronics xP
Please provide circuit, in general beginner circuits brushed DC motors tend to be used though.. easy to drive etc. Generally a 5V motor will take about 1A, and directly driving it from a pot would be very inefficient and the pot probably won't be rated for it.. PWM seems more reasonable, then you can also use mosfets etc.. anyway, circuit diagram would be useful
