of real drum set with acell and gyro sensors ?
Maybe not as sensitive as we can get with real ones but something that can tell when I'm banging on my front and when on the right (with few errors ofcourse).
let me reach a quite place, I will describe my thoughts
sorry for a late response. So, you have actually two problems: 1. level problem: where are your imaginary drums placed? 2. force problem: how hard stick hits a drum for 1. you need to have some way to determine how high stick is located. IDK how to resolve this issue, but I suggest to use IR/lasers to determine coordinates of the stick. for 2. - you have accel and gyro, combining both together will say angle and velocity/acceleration of your stick. So knowing a mass of a stick you can derive a force. So you when you detect that stick passes certian level, you can calculate force and understand how it should sound
