Guys, I've created a custom ami and attached it to

the empty ECS cluster by adding the cluster name parameter in /etc/ecs/ecs.config file and it's showing up as container instances. How do I create task definitions targetting this EC2 instance/ecs cluster.
Selecting EC2 type will provision a new EC2. Should I go with external instance option?
Please let me know. Thanks!
