Excellent :) thanks. Unrelated but, do you have experience with

linux on systems with dual GPUs and Optimus? I read that it's a pain to get the nvidea working. I was wondering if I should know something in advance

Depends on your distro and a bunch more stuff. It was difficult for me to understand it at first but it's pretty straight forward for me to figure it out now. But I don't bother with optimus. My laptop had like 4 hour battery life when I bought it and I keep it plugged in at all times so no point in bothering with optimus.
