It doesn't matter as long as your swap is 500mb+. Swap is used when your OS runs out of memory so you have a last chance to save your work instead of it being abruptly closed by your OS and possibly cause data corruption.

You should always have 2x swap than RAM, but your use cases can prove that to be too little
