After installing a KDE, My ubuntu keeps looping on the

login interface when I provide my password, what could be the solution to this problem?

Something broke when you installed kde. most likely it's the greeter or you forgot to configure it correctly. "Welcome to your first of many upcoming awful experiences of using ubuntu"
