To start learning UX, you need to start empathising with users. As you said earlier, reading more books to learn is too much and boring. Similarly, if you had to use an appliance at home, but in order to use it you have to read a 50 page manual to understand how to use it— That would be a frustrating user experience. It is the same with the users who will be using your app. If they cannot understand what they are suppose to do within a few seconds, they will look elsewhere.
