Why should I get alerts if client is doing something

wrong http 4xx or does it depends on the type of application i'm monitoring?

5xx alerts are understandable issue with the application infra etc but why 4xx.

Honestly, I hate 4xx errors, especially due to this. Most times Devs don't take time differentiating this and its just a mess

if you have a token that has expired, and your app is no longer able to auth - 4xx can indicate that. a bad deploy that removed files/data - 4xx can indicate that. it depends.
