Do you guys think linux or python is more important

to master in the devops world?

If you was only going to learn 1 out of those, then learn python. Python is effective for most things from big data, devops, machine learning etc. If you use linux as opposed to windows, you will naturally learn the different commands, and googling here and there, soon u’ll be fine with it. After that you can start looking at putting scripts together with bash etc.. Most people are using linux nowadays since its more effective with docker, kube, general services etc..
