#Question - I'm looking for a user-friendly (Windows GUI?) tool

to configure and run a reverse proxy server on local machine in order to route one specific hostname to another downstream.

To prevent X/Y problem: hosts file entry won't work as the Azure App Service I need to connect to has a shared IP and only works with explicit host name. Also, we're talking about a desktop application that has this hostname hardcoded.

I am not a windows guy , but talking about reverse proxy server comes to my mind Nginx and a tool called nginxconfig.io not sure if it will help you
