Does anyone know how to import file in an EFS

Question

Does anyone know how to import file in an EFS

from an S3 bucket in cloudformation? I know that is possible using an AWS::Lambda::Function resource but I want to be sure I'm not missing any new CFN goodies.

CloudFormation is a resource management tool. It cannot be used for file movement like what you want, unless you create your own custom resources. You have to make sure you include the right instructions when the CloudFormation is deleted, else the custom resources will hang and cause your CloudFormation fail to be deleted
