better for CI/CD pipeline ? Gitlab seems to say they have more features.. Anyone who can help list the best practise tools used for automating everything...

Presently i am using docker deployment on production since a year, but no automation...

You can use Gitlab CI without being exclusively on GitLab. The documentation is all there in GitLab's docs
