ebs volume is not being actively used? I stopped my EC2 instances but the EBS attached to it, is having "in-use" status

Is it still attached to the EC2 instance?

I believe stopped EC2 still have its EBS attached, thus in use status. If you terminate the EC2, the EBS will be detached
