Hello! I am using x2go client with a remote PC,

and firefox just does not start. Also tried to start it using the command line, and when I searched for the error message, I found the following error: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/snapd/+bug/1951491

I can use firefox with the VM if I use other means to use the PC, just not with x2go Client.

I have 2 questions:

1. When I check the bug page, I don't understand the progress on the solution, or whether or not someone is already working on it. Is it feasible for me to just wait until there is an update?

2. The error is about user groups, and apparently a remote user has some practical differences from an actual user. I read some workarounds in the link I sent, but some of them felt pretty insecure for a PC that is supposed to be used remotely. How would you approach in solving this? As I said, the link has some solutions, but I don't fully understand them, hence my question.
