This is the Bake group where discussions about Bake products

and services are welcome, and other topics are removed to maintain consistency and relevance in the channel.

DCA is DCA, regardless of what you prefer to invest in, commodities, bonds, stocks, crypto, the topic and concept is the same. Bake puts out plenty of educational content. Even on DCA, their blog tells you the pros and cons.

Of course Bake promotes their own products. Which company do you know that would promote something other than their own? BTC is not a product of Bake. Bake has no BTC-specific service. Even BTC YieldVault is actually based in DefiChain vaults.

This service only launched 2-3days ago and Bake has already announced they would be adding new coins as time goes by. But even then, do take a look at Bake’s portfolio of services, DefiChain is the biggest, therefore it is obvious DFI is prioritised. They’re even transparently made it know that the DCA feature is actually using their own treasury funds, as Bake is Not an exchange.

Beyond that, they have ETH, SOL, Matic.

!Support If the app is crashing on you and you are able to replicate it, ie. performing a certain transaction or function, then do contact support and report it to them, with your software version, iPhone, iOS version. I’m sure it will be looked into . I have an iPhone and I haven’t experienced any crashing myself.

Been in crypto since Feb 2017.. and here since July 2020.. this is the best community I have seen so far.. everyone positive.. supportive.. building.. working.. if it's ever been negative it's usually the new guys always so cynical and just stirring shit all the time.. When the good times roll in late next year, as it always does every 4 year cycle, it will get better..

But there is some truth to that or not. Let’s be honest… I’m just commenting on what I see on social media. And I’m a long standing user of cake/bake but I see the company get more and more into marketing and less and less in to giving a really good costumer experience. And if you don’t mind me asking what was the reason you delete the first comment about DCA?

I tried to start an educational conversation about DCA-ing. But got deleted twice. A while ago when they started with yield vaults there was a different return on investment precent than advertised. I could go on and on. I just wish they would be more honest in advertising than they are…

Definitely, it’s all about the facts. And I think the fact is that the company is to involved in marketing and to little in the core business and app stability. I get marketing is a big pat of the game but if you ask me you should take care of your core business first and than make so much emphasis on marketing. Just my opinion. 🙏🏻🤷‍♂️

I thought the DCA video was ok.. would have been good if it stayed up.. but i think i can understand why the moderators might have thought to delete it.. I would definitely lean towards keeping that up though.. it's just general information on DCA I guess.. but honestly, that's really not a big deal.. Yield vaults returns were always dynamic.. and I think maybe it just didn't play out as expected? More a missed estimation than dishonesty? I don't know.. I just don't use YV.. and I don't follow what goes on in products I don't use.. loving the 20% APY (for now) at DFI...

Yes I know but it is usually quite biased. Witch is understandable but I thought sharing another point of view was welcomed And that is why I share external link talking about DCA. Guess that’s my bad and I apologize for it 😊

You are welcome to discuss about DCA, but as mentioned, do stick to Bake’s products and services. Outbound links are normally removed if it’s not Bake specific as it can get hard to check which is legit and which is not manually every time. As for products within Bake, that’s what the group is for, and questions regarding features are always answered to the best of our abilities. Things like how Yield is generated, where the % comes from, why is it lower/higher/fluctuations, these have always been explained and provided for. Bake’s products are all based on the blockchain, you only get what the blockchain produces, and what the blockchain produces can be audited by anyone. Bake has a transparency page that shows everything on all the services they run, you can check reserves, you can check vault contents, you can check nodes, etc. If there is a specific question you have, then by all means ask. But when you make sweeping statements that implies Bake is lying, mismanaging funds to fly first class, etc, those will get deleted. 🙏

Thank you for your feed back. 🙏🏻😉 But you can elaborate as much as you want but if the precent is significantly different than advertised I fell it shouldn’t be. Anyway I appreciate all that bake is doing for its users. And I do believe road to 50 is a legit lang therm goal.

Thank you for your detailed answer. But I do feel that some of the marketing produced by bake/cake is sometimes a little bit misleading. And I can remember went back in the day Julian and the crew did much less flexing and we’re much more involved in the community. I do apologize for my remarks, but I still feel like they are somewhat reasonable. I wish all of the Bake users, happy baking, and a great weekend .

Started a discussion about the new DCA service but got deleted twice. I guess there is some double standard in play 🤷‍♂️. I thought bake community and admins should allow a discussion like that. Guess not. P.s. the new app on iPhone is crashing and would be amazing if the app would be working proper. Waiting to be deleted again. 😉
