btw swap size should be more than physical memory size. The current 976Mi swap is not enough at all. Increase it too.

There's nothing to correct, if he does not need hibernation, he can completely remove it. Provided he gets enough RAM.

Then he risks sudden crashes. You can decrease swappiness to a less agressive value, but you should not avoid swapping. While there's reason for having swap, there's no reason for not having swap, imho.
