of investment made at different times in Cake Defi activate 1 masternode? When there are 20,000 pieces in total. FOR EXAMPLE I locked 3000 DFIs for 10 years every month. Do I have 1 masternode after 7 months?
Yes and no. You don’t own a masternode. Cake runs the masternodes. And you can check all of the masternodes Cake operates on their transparency page. However, you do get voting rights in Defichain governance process based on the amount of DFI you have locked up. So if you have 20,000 DFI frozen, then you have the equivalent of 1 masternode vote. With in-chain governance, even users with less than 20K DFI can vote these days. However, these votes would be prorated and aggregated in proportion to the actual number of DFI you have. At the end of the voting, Cake will consolidate all its users votes based on the total amount of DFI and utilise the necessary masternodes for the purpose. Tl;dr, you don’t have to worry about running or maintaining your own masternode. You will get whatever apy you see in the app. You will still get to vote regardless. https://cakedefi.com/transparency/
