both Azure and AWS.
We have deferent services on Azure, app service running on Linux hosting, Azure functions, key vault store, mysql and mssql.
What's the equivalent for these services in AWS, and is it worth to move to AWS? Like are their services cheaper, and are they easy to manage as in Azure?
Yep, AWS has RDS so you can manage instances of mysql or clusters with many replicas

Why do you want to move cloud provider. What is your concern?
The company I'm working for think they can save some money since AWS can provide somehow better infrastructure for lower price than Azure. They're also not sure, I have to do a research if this is correct or not.
Highly likely not correct. Cloud pricing is mostly similar among cloud provider
False, it depends on infra, services, and resource you gonna use. So you can save money in certain cloud Provides. You can use pricing calculator for a estimate
You could think in reserve instance or saving plans
if people say they will save money using AWS, that can be confirmed not correct. so many example on the Internet people saying they are paying tons of money for using AWS
Maybe they dont use cost effective solutions.
It really depends on the use case and what is called cost and what is intended as investment
Egress costs is where most people get rekt
Egress is stupidly expensive. I've bookmarked something to investigate for later, try to ping me later this week so I can get your opinion
Some colleagues suggested we move to vercel for frontend apps because hosting them ourselves(ssr apps that take a fair bit of cpu/mem) was pricey. Then I pointed out we would've paid around 6K usd last month in egress costs alone! 🙃
I'd kill to pay $6k per month in egress
heh, the place I work at is still quite smol
