Best to use a centralised exchange like Coinbase, Binance, Kraken etc.
Has the Bake feature removed, where dBTC could be transferred to native BTC wallet?
All BTC in Bake is native BTC. When you deposit dBTC from defichain wallet to Bake. It is automatically unwrapped to BTC. This is the same for all dCrypto supported on the defichain dex and Bake.
Ok, was just wondering why @fabioandreatta suggested to off ramp BTC using a centralised exchange to @GAPA2020
Yes that is correct. You cannot off-ramp crypto on Bake. That has nothing to do with wrapping/unwrapping. That question was to sell BTC to fiat. You have to withdraw BTC or any crypto from Bake to a cex and sell there.
Hi Zachary, i thought that you could not withdraw BTC directly from Bake to a CEX and that you had to send the BTC from Bake to Defichain and from there to a CEX 🤔
You have it completely opposite. Everything on Defichain is Defichain-wrapped. dBTC, dETH, etc. You can only withdraw DFI native from Defichain. Bake is the one that’s doing the wrapping and unwrapping of Defichain tokens and has always been.
You can easily send BTC from Bake to wherever you want. No detours necessary
