just fine in debian testing, its the only way i can use virtualbox.

i know its better, i only use virtualbox because whonix's virtualbox image is 10x faster and less buggy than the kvm one

Could work too yeah, especially since I'm already using btrfs for those machines' rootfs. I guess I might have to familiarise myself a bit with that. Or maybe run it on ZFS instead, which I'm already familiar with. Both support snapshots, which should make these rollbacks possible.
